Jetsetters On Tour !
Hi Everyone!
When I joined That'll be the Day,they didnt tell me that we actually flew to shows in a plane! But thats what happened when we played Ayr in Scotland this week!(15/16 March 07').
Firstly meeting up at Bristol Airport on Thursday morning. Then a smooth and sunny flight to Scotland,followed by a relaxing train journey from Glasgow into Ayr,complimented by the beautiful Scottish countryside along the way. The crowds always go wild in Scotland for Rock n Roll and the first show was no exception. A total sellout and a real pleasure as always.
After the show a few of us had a little get together in an American style bar named McArthurs,where one of the cast (Secret!) got up and wowed everyone,on the Karaoke!
The next afternoon we all met with Trevor to discuss the "New Summer Show" for 2007. (This info is also"Top Secret"-Sorry!)
Friday's show again was a sellout, with the applauding crowd on their feet as the red curtain fell,bringing to a close another brilliant night !
Then it was straight back to the hotel,preparing for a 5:30 start in the morning!(I only thought there was one 5:30 in a day!!!)
By 10:30 am ,the aeroplane had gently touched down in Bristol Airport, and we were on our way home again.
As I write this, we have a few days off.But we look forward to seeing you all soon.For me, especially at The Hall for Cornwall-Truro,this Saturday(24th)-my hometown.
